Meghan Jean is a visual artist whose work explores narrative constructs, personal mythology, interconnectivity, and the mercurial nature of truth.
After fleeing the expansive desert skies of her youth, Meghan planted herself in the haunted coastal marshes of Georgia. She earned a BFA summa cum laude from Savannah College of Art & Design before journeying to the Northwest in search of new adventures. She lives and works in the Bay Area with her husband-to-be, Chris Sasaki, and their English bulldog, Beans.
Currently Meghan works at a stop-motion animation company that occupies an old chocolate factory. Her art studio is a part of SWARM Gallery & Studios in Jack London Square.
